I am a Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, having previously worked at Monsanto, Pharmacia, Pfizer, and Washington University. I teach in the Biochemistry, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry Divisions, in addition to teaching some Analytical Chemistry.
My research interests have spanned organic processes, bioorganic and bioinorganic chemistry, nucleic acids, ribozyme mimics, antiviral agents for human papillomavirus, drug development, and green chemistry. I enjoy running, swimming, guitar playing, fly fishing, and reading. I claim proficiency only in reading.
