Sean Dingman
Director (2024-25)
Sean Dingman is currently the Sr Technical Service Representative for OxyChem’s specialty sanitizer products known as ACL. These products are used primarily in pool, institutional, and potable water sanitation. Sean began his tenure at OxyChem in 2020. Prior to OxyChem, Sean has held roles in Technical Service, Product Management and Business Development at companies like Mississippi Lime, BASF, & Sigma-Aldrich. He has been an adjunct instructor at Washington University and UMSL. He has also been an independent consultant and participated in an early-stage nano-tech start-up company spun out of Washington University.
Sean holds a PhD in inorganic materials chemistry from Washington University, where he studied the synthesis of III-V nanostructured semiconductors under Bill Buhro. He has volunteered with the St Louis ACS section for a number of years and served as Secretary in 2012-2013.
