The call for papers for the 2023 Joint Midwest – Great Lakes Regional Meeting of the ACS meeting has been issued. The meeting will take place October 18-21, 2023 at the St. Charles Convention Center in St. Charles, MO.

The theme for the meeting is “Scale Up Your STEM”, and will feature plenary speakers, exciting technical sessions and special symposia, poster sessions, regional awards, social events, and a large vendor expo. In addition, there will be special undergraduate programming, chemistry education workshops for high school teachers, and events sponsored by the local Younger Chemists Committee and the Minority Affairs Committee. It is a great opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to present their research and get to know the Midwest and Great Lakes chemistry communities. The St. Louis local section (Midwest Region) and the East Central Illinois local section (Great Lakes Region) will be co-hosting events.
ACS’s Meeting Abstracts Programming System (MAPS) will be open soon. Please visit either the symposium website or MAPS to submit an abstract. Abstracts are due July 17, 2023.
