Local attendees with a window into the Global get-together
On February 16th, local chemists met virtually for a breakfast celebrating diversity as part of IUPAC’s Global Women’s Breakfast. Attendees were able to network and engage in a discussion on motivating others and themselves to succeed in a chemistry education or career. Robust discussions and insights were had by all!
Two section volunteers organized the local event, which drew 25 attendees. The event brought together active Section members and several new faces.
