Greetings all,
I am so delighted to have the opportunity to serve as the 2022 Chair of the St. Louis Section of The American Chemical Society. This has been a wonderful year and I am honored to be a member and leader of such a wonderful organization. I send this greeting not to say goodbye but to say thank and farewell. Also, to welcome our new incoming Chair Tabbetha Bohac.
I want to take this time to thank the officers of the 2022 year, for a job well done during my tenure as chair. It has been both an exciting and busy year for STL-ACS as we progressed throughout this term. Having a supportive and dedicated team makes all the hard work well worth it. Thank you tremendously to Jeff and Henry!
Thank you to the National American Chemical Society Executive Board, National office staff, national members and other local chapters who have had an opportunity to partner with our chapter to impact members and chemists across the society. To the incoming 2023 chair and executive committee members, I challenge you to continue the success of STL-ACS in all of its efforts brought forth in 2022 and prior. The efforts of bridging the gap between academia and industry, bringing the work of the 2022 strategic plan into reality, and championing inclusion within our leadership ranks and local section.
To STL-ACS incoming chair, Tabetha Bohac, I wish you well as you lead the society to its next level of success. I look forward to supporting you in any and all endeavors.
Peace and Blessings,
Cynthia Chapple
