First-place award winner (2017) Nicolas Revelt explains his research with Dr. Sarah Luesse about the influence of phenol substitution on tandem Ugi-Smiles Diels-Alder reactions.
This edition of the UGRS continues to be co-sponsored with the Society for Applied Spectroscopy (SAS) and will again be hosted by Maryville University. Because SAS postponed their symposium, we are postponing the UGRS to continue the co-sponsorship that was begun in 2019.
The local SAS symposium speaker will present on some cutting-edge spectroscopic method or development, and concurrently, undergraduates will host a poster session of their research projects. Maryville University will host the event again next year. All members of SAS, ACS, the Maryville University community, and the general public are warmly invited to attend.
Location: Maryville University (650 Maryville University Dr., St. Louis, MO 63141)
Stay tuned: the call for abstracts and more detailed information on the event will be broadcast later this year!
